    question

1 -- What got you into late bays .

When I was a child we use to go camping all the time in Anglesey – Treadder Bay and I remember seeing one with a constatina roof and asked my dad what it was ,he said a dormobile and was fascinated with it ,plus when we were kids my parents use to hijack us and take us on a 6 week holiday every year touring Spain and Portugal in the back of a Morris marina ,my dad use to see how far each day he could drive and me and my sister would be in the back squashed up against sun umbrellas and various bits of furniture and anything cheap they could buy abroad – once we got waved in at Plymouth customs on the way home and the guy took one look inside and waved us back out – anyway whilst abroad we would pass these VW campers and I would dream of being in the back of one asleep.
So anyway I go camping all the time with my Sister and mates and needed a car and so thought campervan.

2 - what is the first song you would have on your desert island and why .

OK I love dance music but I don’t think if I had 3 choices theres one good enough ,however I think the following tune has the same kind of beat to it with and for the time (1966) a very modern sound ,I think the chemical brothers actually covered it – I might be wrong though.

The Beatles - Tomorrow Never Knows (w/ lyrics)

3 - do you regard yourself as a lifelong vw fanatic or are you just going through a phase in your life .

I don’t class myself as a fanatic and its certainly not a phase as I’ve always loved camping ,however I couldn’t see myself camping in anything else now.

4 next song choice and why

Please don’t cruxify me for this but I love ballards and I think the following artist is very underated and all people seem to associate with him is money for nothing and the walk of life etc.
This ones got everything with an amazing end.

Dire Straits - Telegraph Road [COMPLETE STUDIO VERSION]

5 - What do you do for a living at the moment .

I work for the Co-operative group as an application analyst – basically I support the warehouse I.T systems – very dull I know.

6 Third and last song choice here .

OK back to my love of dance music again – this is where trance comes from – I love ambience and these guys were the best at it.

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond - full version first part

7 - Do you frequent vw shows and if so which one do you enjoy the most , if not , do you intend to visit a show in the near future and which one .

I don’t go to shows as I don’t think I’d fit in really as I’m not really a fanatic , prefer camping in amazing locations ,sorry if I offend anyone as its proberly me – infact I know its me!

8 - Could you ever see yourself making a living from your vw passion .

No I’m hopeless at making money out of anything.

9 - what one single camping item could you not do without in your van

    Booze

  10. apologies - I couldnt wait so I rushed it :)

  11. its always better to try and hang on a bit if you can

  12. chemical brothers, let forever be. with Noel Gallagher on vocals

it has a very similar beat and sound in general

    both class tunes

Poptop pm'd me earlier so here we go

    The guest WoodyLubber.

    question

1 -- What got you into late bays .

I’ve always liked old ska music and old reggae, never had a scooter but did have a fs1e yammy, my sister had a bus first and started going to shows so I went to one and that was me hooked, you meet people from every walk in life and make some great friends

2 - what is the first song you would have on your desert island and why .

toots just seems to chill me out and puts me in the dubbing mood, he’s a legend

54-46 was my number (That's my number) -Toots and the Maytals (With Lyric)

3 - do you regard yourself as a lifelong vw fanatic or are you just going through a phase in your life .

I’d say that if it’s a phase it’s a long un, my first bus a 68 earlybay was off the road more than it was on, I was thrown in a the deep end and just managed to scramble out, I read some of the problems we all go through on here with our busses and im not surprised some bail out

4 next song choice and why

jimmy ruffin, its reminds me of being a kid sat in the back of my old mans car at 5 am on a Sunday morning going fishing somewhere, great memories

Jimmy Ruffin - What Becomes Of The Brokenhearted (Original Stereo)

5 - What do you do for a living at the moment .

    Secret millionare

6 Third and last song choice here .

birdy, its my favourate at the moment, brilliant voice

Birdy - Skinny Love [Official Video]

7 - Do you frequent vw shows and if so which one do you enjoy the most , if not , do you intend to visit a show in the near future and which one .

loves shows, it don’t matter if there big uns or small uns, as for the best show, mmn camperjam was great last year, everything just clicked with so many people, I hope this year is the same but things very rarely are

8 - Could you ever see yourself making a living from your vw passion .

Ha, nah, I do it for the fun and friendship, I don’t even wanna know what other people do for a living when im dubbing, its bores me when people start talking about there work or deals and stuff, wrong time wrong place

9 - what one single camping item could you not do without in your van

My bottle opener, I do like to enjoy myself you know

  14. love Pink Floyd - I would have chosen the 26min version though ;D ;D ......even thats not long enough for me ;D
