Quality, the threads are funny - top marks for the idea Malc, but what really cracks me up is the total lack of "nominating" the next person, haha awesome, that I found funnier ;D
And no I don;t want a go, just got back from one of the most horrendous 2 day business events ever where I was called upon to solo present to a room full of people (50-60 ish) with very senior people and a director present............awful and I woke at 3.45 am this morning with it on my mind and spent until 6.45am walking around the room and sitting on the crapper reciting to myself the "hashed" work in progress lol................thank god that's over

1 -- What got you into late bays .

Long story short. My father hired an orangey panel to move some beds from my grandparents and l fell in love with the face of the thing. l was 4 at the time and that's like hundreds of years ago. Anyway l loved waving at the green one we overtook on the free way while sitting over the engine and hundreds of years later l bought one when l finished uni.

2 - what is the first song you would have on your desert island and why .

One always needs a little Barbra in their lives and this song with all its jazz and hi tempo jolliness is just what you need when feeling a bit "oh my Bus is broken "

3 - do you regard yourself as a lifelong vw fanatic or are you just going through a phase in your life .

Stupidly yes. All started with my sister friends Beetle when l was 16 and it carried on ever since with a deviation into Citroen and Peugeot. An episode now firmly behind me.

Sylverster Do Ya Wanna Funk. It's so high energy that nothing can stop you or get in your way. You just dance like a man possessed. Almost like downing 12 vodka Redbulls with a tab of Pro Plus in each and then at the end dropping to your knees with a pseudo heart attack.

5 - What do you do for a living at the moment .

At the moment l am taking a break from nursing and concentrating on Birdy's Buses while doing this and that.

William Shatner's You'll Have Time. I choose this because it's all so ironically true, blunt, comedic and it makes me chuckle. We do have time if we make it but we are also going to die. I want it played at my funeral and being stuck on this island l can play it to myself from my mInd player.

7 - Do you frequent vw shows and if so which one do you enjoy the most , if not , do you intend to visit a show in the near future and which one .

l do and there were many last year but for 2011 it had to be Elemental. New friends were made and long lasting relationships were built at that show.

8 - Could you ever see yourself making a living from your vw passion .

How funny. l am trying but as many have said and tried before, to do it properly means you live on baked beans and drink water.

9 - what one single camping item could you not do without in your van

The cocktail cabinet. A man can go 7 days without food but only a day without fluids.
