suspension is already 60mm drop i think at a guess. Would love to slam it on air, but cant get my head round it yet. Wheels wise, i have got wellers for now, some originality there. Then later i would like to put something slicker on there like these[IMG]
but only if it is slammed enough to be worthy

  7. Liking the direction this is taking near the end. Go on, it's only grocery money, slam it!!!! LOL We're all only limited by the money we can fork over! But you'll have the "bleeding green" stopped in no time. LOL

  8. lovely combo....

how did you hold them and take a picture?

i had a mate hold one. hence that is not my paint booth. thereforthwith i am connected, but not endowed with a good paint supply, although i am able to mix anything if i choose to. They can do any colour with all the pigments they stock. Its mad.

I would love to slam it myself, but i think i would ruin it. I did have the idea of doing it, got a good plan together, but was worried if i messed up, how would i rectify it? Im no mechanic. Bodywork, yes, mechanics/suspension, nope.

I like those rims, very nice indeed!

Those rims are quite the expense, but i usually find a bargain on these things. If its going to have those though, it needs to be tucking some serious lows. I wonder how it is to fit a beam to a t25? Reckon its difficult? I am by no means underestimating it.

  12. Theres a few kicking about with front beams instead of the springs. One running bay running gear and the other beetle based.

Stick with the T25 suspension and just fit airride if you want to go real low. It'll ride like poo if you go with 80mm lowering springs. Theres a thread on the brick-yard forum with someones homebuilt air ride.;)

shortly after this photo was taken, i had to vacate the unit, as i wasn't renting more like borrowing so currently it is under cover while i spray the doors in my booth, but the booth is not big enough for a vehicle, it is my cabinetry booth. Anyway i have found a booth i can use so fingers crossed i can get it all together.

  16. You're almost there! Keep at it! Food, sleep, even money, does not matter at this stage. Push to the end!!! LOL Great work ! Cann't wait to see the colors on the panels!

    Quick update,

Had to leave that unit as there was a new business wanting to take it over, the van is out under cover, and all of its appendages are in my workshop a couple doors down ready for spraying now. Just trying to work out how to get it to the sprayers. Got a mate with a recovery van who can get it there but its next week now, (started the convo 3 weeks ago lol) but it will get there one way or another. I might even ring a recovery firm locally and work out a deal. Need this done asap so i can steal the cover and put it on my next project (dry 79 bay maybe). . . .

Oh yeah found a sweet full length roof rack for the 25 and i am hoping that it hasnt been sold! told the guys to save it for me. its in some bushes so i doubt anyone will realise what it is.

Anyway, thought i would check in.
