VW T2 1972, building a totally new car

  1. Rear bumper and diffuser looks awesome with the integrated exhaust.

  9. Wow :D i did not know that so many people like this project. It means to me a lot, must say.

    Anyway back to the project. I manage to manufacture all rear panels from scratch. It is possible to buy replicas, but all are from 0,8 mm steel. I made all of them from 1mm steel like all the body work was originaly. And idea of rear vailance is coming together. Rear diffuser is welded together, only thing i need is someone with grinding skills =)

  11. Well if I hadn't have read the last page first I think I might have thought "Oh yeah, this will end up scrapped" but I'm well impressed with what you have achieved so far :thumbsup:
     
  12. So far i manage to bend all the sheet pieces that i recived from the laser cutter. All of them are made from 1cm thick steel and not like the fake ones (0.8). It looks pretty well. Tomorrow i need to cut inner rear panel out and inner coulums. Replace all of them and weld the chassis and body together.
