Nice Work! RJES do loom conversion, much depends on the Engine MY etc, I would advise you search for a wiring diagram by seaching using the ECU number. I am attempting it but it's a lot of work and requires patience and a methodical approach. I found this article helpful although not conclusive http://www.boxerswaps.com/subaru-vanagon-engine-swap/part-3-re-wiring-the-subaru-harness http://www.boxerswaps.com/subaruvanagon/step-2b-removing-the-subaru-wiring-harness
ok, meanwhile i started the engine... finished gear linkage and bought all new body parts... the whole B column, new original fenders and side panels. I also added electrical power steering. I will post those photos later, this is for now.
I've been working on front doors now and also manage to solve the electrical assisted steering =) And finnaly electrical steering... It is from Renault Clio 2 in combination with control modul to operate how stiff the steering would be.
Ok, today i put the doors on and figure it out that i need the front panel before i can align the door line. I also chop the sliding doors. Buttom was totaly roten. I need to replace the whole door skin. And parts from laser shop came home... the swivel plate adapter is finished and also the rear panel from T2a lights. That's it for today Good night folks
Fantstic build and thread......respect brother,if i bring my bay over ,can u do the same for me .....lool.....
I am realy glad that you like the project It kind a pops your will up Meanwhile i manage to get car bench. It is the only way to fit everything right. Left column was too low, right too far away from B column... But i manage to sort it out. At most of my time recently took to design the rear panel. The radiator will be in front of it and i need to manage the air flow out as efficient as it can. So i shortened rear engine doors and make a hole and distance plate for license plate. Crucial part is also the system of airflow tunels in the rear panel... Will photos speak for it selfs... And finally... what do you think about the design of rear bumper.... =)) i neeeeeed your opinion.
Bloody hell, what a superb thread! Love seeing something different mate Nice one! I think the rear bumper looks good
