I was screaming too much that no-one was able to have a conversation on my first cystoscopy. The doctor asked me to be quieter as I was scaring the other patients in the waiting room - like I cared about them.

When I had the needle for the local anesthetic for my " snip" ... after he had done one injection, he said... and now the other side.
At that point I did say " other side! It's not that big !
Not sure if pain or embarrassment was worse.

  5. Yep broken ribs are blimmin' painful, you don't realise until you break a couple how much they move just doing everyday stuff like breathing! I broke mine by falling downstairs a few years ago, I missed my footing on the top step and went bang, bang, bang on every step as I slid down on my back. When I landed at the bottom I've never been so frightened as I was winded and for about 10 or 15 seconds simply couldn't take a breath, I honestly thought I was dying:eek:

i had one infection that went up my nose though i eye socket and was heading for my brain they can lead to death if not treated

I had something called referred pain. I went to the dentist telling him about the pain in my tooth - upper teeth.
He said "there is a massive hole in the lower molar".
"yes, I know that" say I, "but that is not where the pain is"

Anyway, he fixed the lower tooth and the upper pain went away. weird.

  15. I have broken loads of bones..legs arms ribs even fractured skull but the worse I have had to endure was a catheter up the todger decided to move inside me causing it to grind away inside my bladder.. excruciating pain and not able to do anything. No drugs touched it and I threatened to just pull it out if they didn't do something....took emergency surgery.

    Yeah, they glued me though.

I was back at work within 2 weeks, doing press ups at 6 weeks, bench press at 2 months.

I always slept on my front, now I can only sleep on my back.

It was at my 18 month check up my doc excitedly told me I save to start press ups again  oops. To be fair, I wasn’t in for heart stuff so had a huge head start.

I conclude I’m basically a bit stupid when it comes to pain....I broke my leg coming off my bike once and only realised when the physio at my rugby club told me I’d fractured my tibia and the regrowth was rubbing my tendon causing the soreness I went to see her for.

I feel my chest if I lift something really heavy, or the weather gets cold or damp....do you get issues with yours?
