  2. It's generally acknowledged that the most physically painful thing happens to Yorkshire folk when they're forced to open their wallet. Many just pass out with the shock.

Called a Cystoscopy - I've had three in my life. The one mentioned earlier I had been given a Diazopan to trip me out, didn't work one bit

Dunno what caused mine, they said some people just get them.

Here’s some of the bits caught in a tea-strainer after they’d broken up.
They’re painful when they pass, but a lot more painful before that when they leave your kidneys and start that tortuous journey through your plumbing, blocking it up in the process..
You may think this is an odd thing to ‘collect’, but trust me when I say you really want to know how many bits you’ve passed and how many might be left!

    Enjoy...

PS it helps if you’re endowed with a large piece of pipe for the home run.

There is some research that says certain foods rich in oxalate can increase the risk of kidney stones, but I can for the life of me remember what any of these oxalate rich foods are.... spinach is one (I think), but as @Pickles says, drink plenty and exercise

  11. Yeah. Doc told me I should be drinking 3 litres of water a day, and not so much tea & coffee.

Well I don’t drink, and I’ve not seen nearly enough loose women for too long!

I have to say, painful as part of the procedure was, it was quite fascinating to see inside your bladder on the big screen. When I had the bypass, part of me wishes I’d ask the surgeon to film it for me :D

  16. When I had my stents I could see it all on screen. Though I wasn’t taking that much notice.

I also had a colonoscopy, that was being displayed on a massive tv screen.... it wasn’t much of a watch tbh, and making small talk with the dr, while he rammed some chimney sweep rods up my jacksie was somewhat disconcerting....
