The most physically painful thing you’ve experienced...

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Moons, Jan 8, 2021.

  1. I had something similar aged 4, the nurse didn’t believe my screams that the adhesive tape she was removing from my abdomen was taking the stitches (non disposable type) with it. She was proved wrong when the bleeding started...

Still, the worst pain was having arthritis in my Achilles’ tendon aged 10, any weight on it felt like it was being run through like the mythological namesake

also, a kick in the nads

I believe its the Drupe family of fruit - such as peaches, pears and apricots.

Some people are mad enough to eat the stones - and then it turns in to kidney stones.

A Cystoscopy! Ended up having it under a general anesthetic.

  10. Drilled through my thumb with an inch and a quarter flat drill bit, surprisingly not that painful at the time. Three days later had the dressing removed which was stuck to where the nail used to be.. stupidly painful

As a chef in a restaurant in Westward Ho, once I burnt my arm with steam.... So badly I watched the skin falling off my arm.

I ruptured my achilles playing football in my 30's, that takes some beating pain wise. I've also had a camera down my old chap so they could have a look at my bladder, apparently they used an anesthetic but it didn't seem to work very well!

Once drilled down the end of my finger with a 3/4 auger and had to reverse it back 'cos it was then stuck to the door I was drilling out. Ended up with a plastic nail until my own could grow back. Now only 1/2 of the bone is left in the last bit of my finger.
