Yesterday started making a small awning ( 1.7m x 0.6m) for over the slider, to keep out sun and maybe rain. Using whatever material came to hand, some black PU coated nylon cordura ( rucksack fabric) . A set of 11.5mm fibreglass tent poles and a length of 12mm id aluminium tube also have gone in there. Some gutter clamps to make and some brackets to fit to the poptop.
Trying to make it work without support poles or guy ropes.
After that performance at TE, you would understand why.

 

a mammoth roadtrip today, exhaust sorted and a date in York..

the mrs wasn't impressed when i said i was more excited about the exhaust than spending the afternoon with her...
