I checked the diameter of a breather hose on Gusbus' motor and popped four bolts in the inlet manifolds
Won't that make the engine rattle a bit?
should read on the inlet manifolds! I cannot blame predictive text for that error!
I realised why my fueling had gone all to cock and reattached a pipe. Simple fix. I hope.
Filled up with fuel - realised I had very recently filled up with fuel
Vowed to have another look at my fuel gauge ....
Washed the floors. Migh take it for a drive later....

Anyway the misfire was the dissy cap being a bit grubby inside. The "spare" is off a Chinese distributor and it does not really fit the clips go on about five degrees out.
It's better than Ted's which reads 0 miles full, 50 miles full, 75 miles full, 100 miles full, 150 miles full, 175 miles full, 180 miles 1/4, 182 miles stop.
Took out a pot noodle.
I compiled a shopping list of parts for my van, then actually proceeded to ordering many of those parts.
I may or may not ever get round to fitting any of them.
Fired it up...backed it out of its garage....started to rain...drove it back in ... switched off...
last week I took some dog biscuits out of the front cab area (we have four large sacks and no-where to store them in the house),dog was hungry...:dog:
