Changed the oil and filter. 3.5 L of Halfords green.
Also changed the gaskets on the oil strainer.
Rediscovered a 200mm clutch disc and pressure plate in a box that was removed from a blown up engine, quite low mileage looking at it.
The engine that followed used a 215mm clutch.
As my current clutch is juddery when cold, and maybe slips a bit before biting when hot, pedal goes down about the right amount ..
I may check on oil seals and change the clutch over soon.

Ordered a brace of handbrake cables.
And a couple of cylinders too.
The gunged up cable conduit has been cleaned as much as possible, but the rubber is split so they gotta go. At least I vaguely have a handbrake for now.
Had a peek under the cylinder rubbery dust covers, and although the leaking isn't enough to escape just now, one is leaking.
That'll be a job for next week.

Sorted Majors handbrake adjustment out again, bloody star adjuster spring clip.

Put a new horn on him too, now we can pip at folk rather than shouting out of the window :D

He needs a wash, which is next weeks job before Bagfest!
