Changed my mind on pistols - don't have any. Just wondering how lethal a rivnut tool is, after all we both have the same one. Could be a slow duel.

  2. That would be a very slow death...

I like the use of a standard 12.9 Allen head bolt for the mandrel. I overdid an m6 yesterday and slightly affected the threads. It still works and they come with a spare for each size anyway. I splashed out and ordered 10 m6 and 10 m8 for about £3.00 for spare :)

  7. Finally finished the front suspension overhaul, managed to make a tool to loosen nut to adjust the play in steering box[IMG]

  8. Could you not just use a spanner ;)? The slotted adjuster should move quite freely once you loosen the lock nut.

  15. Cleaned the gutters on the bus - wire brushed the rusty bits and painted on rust inhibitor - couple of tiny holes spotted in the roof so a few bobs of filler should hold them for a while - then painted lashings of Rustoleum into the gutters so they are now nice and shiny .

I had severe trouble shutting the slider, couldnt work out why the back of it wouldnt go in. The front latch would catch and hold the door shut but the back stayed open.
After all my recent work and the door stopped working.. grrr.

Eventually I removed the wooden spoke of the sunshade umbrella from between the bus body and the top of the door.. 20200626_173909.jpg
