Took the cover off the sliding door track to work out why it was popping out a bit and then sticking when you opened it.
Turned out it was the striker plate at the front catching on the latch at the front as the door started moving back. Noises seemed to come from nearer the back of the door.
Noted that : the replacement rear roller doesnt go round even though it has all its ball bearings. The replacement rear roller is very wobbly.

The M6 threaded stud in the casting that the roller fits to has stripped and magic and the nylon bit of a nyloc holds the door on.
I forsee cutting it off and then drilling a hole and welding or threading in a stud or similar.

Moved the striker plate down 1mm. Seems to be fixed.

Then turned out all but one tube of silicone or PU that I had was either black or completely solid.
Managed to break the mastic gun as a spot weld gave way so had to weld it up again.
Used clear silicone to seal the track back to the bus - slows down rusting below it.

  9. Just a standard element in the standard filter.

Felt nice putting a clean one in after 2 years of ownership

  10. Gave my jack end a tickle with the grinder.

Gave the split charging setup a workout. Determined that the second battery charges much quicker if you remember to put a fuse in the fuseholder. Duh.

    Zed Gradually getting grumpier

Successfully let the oil out behind a cardboard windshield and removed the oil filler but it's too windy for dribbly oily jobs so I'll drain the cooler and pipes and change the oil filter when the weather improves. Slowly, slowly.

I know that feeling when the oil misses the tray and its only got to fall 4 inches.
Then the bag of Dowty washers blows away..

Fixed up the cool box with the Buccaneer connector off eBay so can run both fridges off the leisure battery.
Converted from office to camper van for two trips to Bristol this weekend.

Been busy all day, I've insulated the heater pipes front to back, look nice and I'm happy with the results

I also fitted new, clutch cable, accelerator cable, and both brake cables

Flaring tool finally arrived and I completed all the brake lines aswell

Also started to add a little filler to the rear arch seam
