Fitted all the downlighters. Havent finished off the wood yet- more sanding and varnishing. ..
Looks like the pair by the hatch are a long way back but if you look, the poptop hinges look a fair way back too.. Ultra wide angle lens on the phone.

Finally got around to getting the near side front wheel off and looking at stuff 'behind the dust cap' (sinister drum roll sound effect accompaniment, if you please) and found that, in accordance with @Lasty's prediction about my wheel bearing movement and loud, pedestrian-scaring grinding noise, the collar keeping all the stuff in place did indeed need 'nipping up'.... quite a lot!
A test drive after putting it all back together was happily free from all sounds liable to frighten horses and children.
    Happy Days.
    :)

....and I now know a bit more about wheels. Next stop, caliper removal. Maybe.

    Day

Driven it.... On way home fixed a little hesitation issue... By taking off the ht lead dizzy to coil (with acuspark) and putting on a normal lead.... Great no hesitation... Runs really nice.

its a pain in the neck job to do, especially with all of the nooks and crannies to get into.

    Worthwhile in the end!

Rebuilt my brake callipers, new seals, pads etc, and put em back on. Waiting for brake lines to turn up, as the ones I bought years ago are the wrong ones!

Finally finished the fire/draught proof housing for the back of the fridge.
2 days, on the schedule...took 2 weeks (with other faffings & preppings).
Fits like a glove though. Not an OJ Simpson glove!

Darn. Just realised i’ve not finished. 2 more pieces to fit which can only be done when i’ve taken it apart

Looking good. Are Avenue coatings open - their website is down but I needed to order too?

    Finished the poptop downlighters yesterday.

Started making up a fixing point for two sockets for fridges in the bus so can run the compressor fridge as a freezer and a thermoelectric coolbox for the rest. Using Bulgin Buccaneer plugs as they are better than cigarette lighter sockets for fridges. And I had a load from the boat. 20200608_200400.jpg
Trouble is the plugs are £17 - £20 these days.
They were cheaper in the 1990's.
Great advantage they are modular so you can turn an inline socket into a panel mounted socket, or make male or female versions by swapping the cores over.

Sat in it and listened to some music. Decided whilst I was there I might as well turn the under-dash shelves over, as it was pointed out to me ages ago that they were the wrong way up ( and probably always had been!)
