  1. I miss it now it’s gone :(

One bracket is firmly seized in the jacking point, hence the hammer treatment...

Its more usual to whack a kerb with it, either crack the bracket (me) or half rip out a jacking point .. somebody else who has gone so low they would act as stands for the bus now.

Spent the last week removing all the underseal from underside and finishing the welding, replacing the rear y piece, (horrible job)
new centre pipe, painted it all in red oxide and then replaced the underseal, it took 5x 1 ltr shutz cans, painted all the pipes and cable holders silver for contrast,

Still waiting for the brake pipe to turn up so I can continue

    Oh the joys

    Good luck everyone

  10. Decided to change the top and bottom ball joints on the front beam , looked easy but wasn’t
Had to make up an extractor jig for the press
Think I will need some hardened steel tips for the next beam 99A40249-B533-4DBA-8787-2C03B3B39273.jpeg

@JamesLey are you the one in the video I watched on YouTube, re- replacing the rear y piece, new one is such poor quality just pressed steel, fell apart whilst fitting, wasn't cheap either

Yeap that’s me! They’re a bit crap aren’t they? Think I ended up rewelding some of it as the welds were awful.

  18. They press in from the top so you have to turn them upside down and form a bridge for the two notches in the ball joints so you press them out through the notches if that makes sense, good luck it was a faff
