I did a on page 3. My parents had one but after looking it up on Google images I found what an absolute minger it looked (despite being so lovely to actually drive).
I have never owned a French car, but the micra K12 has French electrics. Omg what a poor job they did of a good model!
We bought our son a Peugeot 306 D for his 18th. He lowered it, fitted an intercooler and a mechanical dump valve. Eventually ruined it altogether and bought a 106 GTI - that was a fun car to drive. Like a little go-kart. He ruined that as well by modifying the life out of it. I had the dubious pleasure of accompanying him to a couple of modified car shows at the time
I had a Green/Navy one of these, in the flesh still a stunning car. The V6 one was a better car than the VR6 Corrado it replaced, though I am reliably told that that's incorrect by people that actually owned neither. Ruined by LPG conversion - otherwise the only thing that spoilt it was the boggo 406 dashboard and like most french cars, it got loose with age.
Seems I'm with most of you on this: Citroen DS & SM, Renault 5 Turbo2 and Alpine A110 - didn't mind the later Renault Alpine either..
What about the Renault 4cv? Nice little beauty, isn't it? They had one for sale on the auction at Aalholm's Museum, but prices were far out...
