Bumper is on slots. It'll make removing bumper more complicated. If you mash/have to replace your bumper it's more messing about. An educated guess that mounting it entirely on one immovable panel would be better.
Bumper is only on slots on the chassis mountings... Plus you're a fuss pot Steve I've gone with the bumper mounting to minimize the impact of drilling holes in the body... it'll be strong enough as the bumper is 2mm - 2.5mm steel, so stonger than body tin Plus bumper crunching on Para's van is only gonna happen if he backs into a tree
I best not be reversing into trees as id imagine the spare wheel or fire pit would be the first to impact
Fit a towbar para ,everything I've backed into (quite alot) has felt the force of my towbar ,apart from a really low wall that the exhaust hit.
Only thing with a tow bar is you have to make sure all of the electrics are working (after the last MOT changes)

Not cheap mind... I just had a full set of type 4 tins done.... with the fan pulley, engine bar and chassis hangers. The guy paint stripped and prep blasted the bits hot zinc primed them all (never rust again) then hot coated all the parts with the powder coat. bearing in mind there are over 30 pieces, and he used a whole big bottle of propane (£70) to run his oven, it all came to £260...

Easier and quicker yes dude However painting like this works out a hell of a lot cheaper and gives a lot glossier finish
I have some new curtains for the paravan now Its quite hard imagining how the interior of the bus will be with the outside going so utilitarian so i really hope these will suit
Hi I saw your parts list needed and I have an original oil filler neck with the tube bit through the tinwear, but from 1500 singleport, sitting in the cellar at the moment and I can't remember the condition of it!
