  4. Fair play to Josh for sorting this out. I do feel, undeservedly and unfairly so, that JK have had a bit of a bashing here. I mean, they made one or two mistakes. Big deal. Who doesn't? Name me a company who never cocks up. Inconvenient for the customer for sure (and perhaps blown out of proportion by the customer at times too), but it hardly compares to those who're really hard done by. Look at all the times, for example, when we bang on about this garage and that restorer ripping this and that person off for 1000s of quid, yet we're not allowed to name and shame for legal reasons. I'd be keen to know exactly what those legal reasons are. So, by comparison it's a bit unfair for a thread to be set up saying 'Not Happy JK', not to mention the fact that it's now out there for all to read on the internet. It would have been fairer to contact Josh direct. If he, like any company, couldn't sort it out in a reasonable manner, surely only then it would be fair to blast it out over the internet?

    For some people on here "JK bashing" has become a past time! Not sure why unless it's to further the success of various forum members business'.
    Josh's response is great, raises a few questions as to the validity of some of the moans in my mind!

    Just hope theve stopped selling that crappy 2 bar heater thing ,gave up sending them back :)

    good work josh on having the balls to come on here and answer our questions and complaints. hopefully you'll get back a few previous customers. i've only ever had to return 1 item and it went very smoothly.

  14. I've never had a problem with returning faulty items but I've only ever bought two things and both were faulty. ;)

  16. Josh, i ordered a couple of re-con engines, a westie interior, an awning and £10,000 worth of vouchers. None of these have turned up. If you could sort this i'd be grateful ;D

    Seriously though, i've always found the customer service to be very good. I bought a van cover years ago and emailed Mark Reynolds to complain that it was a useless piece of crap which wasn't waterproof and blew off in the lightest breeze. I suggested it would be improved with extra straps. He agreed and said they were changing the design and that if i returned mine, he'd exchange it even though i'd had it for a while. I sent it back normal post and suprise suprise, it never arrived. I emailed Mark again and he sent me a new cover regardless, which i thought was very good customer service and he was under no obligation to do this.
    Re. Crap parts. Everyone stocks them, they have to because they know that if they don't customers will shop elsewhere for the convienience of getting everything in one place. I particularly like jk's british made panels, good quality steel and generally well pressed, compare the gauge of the jk tophat section under the cargo floor with the other availible. No comparison. At least jk are remaking some stuff rather than just selling the crappy stuff. Good work.
