  1. Received order today from JK. Despite being assured by sales guy on phone that would receive 2 calipers in conversion kit, only left one arrived when phoned to complain was told sorry our mistake forgot to send it out. Can't send it out cos someone else has bought it now and already dispatched and it was last one in stock. Should have some more in next week. No good to me really as was going to replace this weekend.:mad:
    Question for all you lot is the one I have had delivered is reconditioned i was under the impression it was going to be a new ATE one ( not advertised as refurb), should it be new or is this me wanting the moon on a stick? Secondly the caliper seems to be 2 halves from different manu[glow=red,2,300][glow=red,2,300]FACT[/glow][/glow]urers (different levels of corrosion and halves not aligning flush) Also top bleed nipple is split. Altogether not what i expected when I placed the order. I am fffffff in fuming.

    Opinions please.
     
  2. Oh, and by the way there is a patch of corrosion just above one of the pistons
     
  3. Quite simply if it was not advertised as a recon unit then I would want it exchanged for a new item at their cost and if you paid for a pair then I would also expect a pair to be delivered, at their cost.
     
  4. The simple matter is they could probably have kept you nice and sweet by saying "sorry - our mistake we'll get a pair out to you next week and here's a £10 voucher to apologise".

    How many people will now see that they have given poor service and perhaps spend their next £500+ with Heritage or Schofield etc....
     
  5. I had my second every delivery from them today and it's the second time I have not been impressed!
    First time there thermo blinds were missing one of the eyelets
    Today the black plastic mesh for the front grill, I would say only 75% of the holes are open

  7. I got a set of thermo mats from them and one was missing an eyelet and one had the thread pulled away. Gave them a call an they sent me two replacement panels free of charge next day.

    It's not always bad

    maybe you just happened to speak to a crap person. phone back tomorrow nice and calm explaining all you've told us and i'm sure they'll sort you out. new should be new!

  10. Distance selling rules dictate you have the right to a full refund if the item is not as described! Demand a refund and look elsewhere.
     
  11. As I said across the way, I wouldn't touch JK for anything apart from camping bits and awnings.
     
  12. New ATEs should be new ATEs.

    Send everything back and get them to refund the postage.

We had the same problem with a company ( Our Hudson car club) that would take money & if your real lucky you get your parts 3-6 month later or send crappy parts or wrong parts--OH to hell with that S :censored:! i quit buying stuff them a few years back,well come to find out they were still doing it to new guys,We had everybody that could send an Email-send one to them telling them what bunch of worthless *%^&$%&$&ers they were & forward the link to our complaints on our club site with a high lighted spot where it shows how many people had viewed that thread,& ( we must have sent a couple thousand emails!)i'll be damned if guys didn't start receiving their parts (the right one too!)
    Maybe they need to be slapped back to the REAL world!
    Seriously if your giving them your hard earn money they better treat their customers better!show them you have folks who will back you. :thinking:
    Or go to a company that cares!
     
  14. are your callipers the one year only type? if so i think these are only available recon , still should've got 2 though.

    mistakes happen though

    I thought this was a complaint about Jamiroquai to which I was going to join in.

    Sadly its about a company I don't use - I prefer ebay for poor quality imported rubbish.

  17. I got my calipers from GSF and they advertised recon and were excellent condition and service from my local store is always superb. Bought a few items from JK but parts always missing. However I never learn just used them to insure the van. :thinking:
     
  18. I'm sure if you phone them and complain, they'll be happy to do a refund i have never had any problems..

    One of the guys from Just Kampers is registered on here, Josh JK is his username, I'd suggest a polite but to the point PM to him as well, his real name is Josh Reynolds (MD of JK's son?) it may get you somewhere
