    Don’t be so sure. I ordered thousands of pounds worth of parts from JK for the rebuild of my van but I didn’t notice they had sent two LH window scrappers, instead of a left and right, until I went to fit them. It was beyond the date that they would accept a return and they would not exchange the unused part for the correct one – the good news was that they had it in stock for me to purchase. I had to buy another one but certainly not from JK.

    JK have had the last order from me unless I have absolutely no alternative, my experience over the last 5 years is that they sell too many poor quality parts that don’t fit - especially if it a JK exclusive. And their customer service sucks.

    Anyone want a new LH window scrapper?

    My experience is that they (as well as most other parts suppliers) sell some good, and some duff parts. I've never had a problem with their customer services though.
     
  4. I bought an awning from them not long ago and the first time I used it the stitching in the corner was faulty. This stopped it from laying correctly and it was starting to rip. I sent them an email with photos and they advised they will get a courier to collect the old one and they will replace it, I arranged for the courier to collect it 5 days later, however 2 days later I came home from work to find a new awning had been delivered, the courier then arrived on the specified day to collect the faulty one.

    It does seem from comments on other sites as well that thier customer service varies drastically. Some have great experiences and others have awful ones.

  6. I am going against the trend here and say I have ordered loads of stuff from JK and they have been excellent. Even to the text to say the time and date and the name of the chap making the delivery.
     
  7. Guess we've all got into the mail order mode these days but buying sight unseen is always a risk unless you know the product is 100% kosher. This applies to whoever you deal with. In my book there are only two areas of real risk and thats on products branded EMPI and those parts sold as "specialy made for us".
     
  8. I deliver for JK (interlink) and I must say I deliver to a lot more happy people than sad people. People who have ordered 2-3-4 times. I have however had a couple of mistake/faulty parts from JK but they've always sorted me out :)
     
  9. Agree, very happy with stuff I've ordered from JK. And they've sorted out any problems quickly.

    And I've ordered lots from them, maybe £2000 over 2 years.

    Their delivery is excellent, even get an email to give approximate time so I can make sure someone's home.
     
  10. Ive ordered loads of bits from JK and gotta say normally they really good,quick service email to give accurate delivery times too,a couple of hiccups,but you`ll always get that

    Not sure where to start here, there's a lot of points to cover.
    Firstly, I really want to apologise for the bad service that some of you have received from JK.
    Obviously this isn't 'the norm' from us, but that doesn't stop it from ruining your plans, putting you in a bad mood and damaging the image you have of JK as a company, none of which are what we want.

    I'm going to go through each of these issues point by point to try and sort out any and all issues that you may have had, but before I do I should probably reply to this post:

    Update to the above, I have been contacted by the Customer Services Manager at JK (as well as Josh) who has apologised and has agreed to refund the cost of the caliper and pick it up gratis. They are also sending some vouchers as a gesture of goodwill. That's good enough for me.

    I would like to thank both Josh and Roger for their timely responses and professionalism, and also to you lot in forum land for your input.

  16. christ how did i miss this ....i was out camping loool....on a serious note i made several orders 2 years ago now and half the stuff was either missing bits or wrong shaped panels ...when i complained bout the bad panels and missing bits ...i got fobbed off,lied to and lost money ...now im left with 2 door refurb kits with missing bits (YOU NEVER DID SEND EM OUT ON BACKORDER) AND THE REFUND YOU GAVE ME BACK FOR ANOTHER PROBLEM ,.WAS ON A EXPIRED CREDIT CARD AND when i complained i didnt receive my money back ,your nice young lady told me to f---- off.......cant wait to meet you lot at a vw fest ....we will be having words.....and the panel that covers the slider didnt fit ..was short by inch---u didnt even refund that or send a good one out .........i still use jk from time to time if there cheaper than other comapnies..matter of watching the pounds....but for something like precise engineered products -i go elsewhere now ......you can give me my refund back if you like ?????????john sanchez ....postcode e2 6aw ...check out my orders on your system bruv.....id also like the missing parts to my 2 door refurb kits .....and cover for slider mechanism .....wish i had my old moby ,i even recorded jk staff being abusive ......i now shop with cool air -megabug -gsf-machine 7 ...to name but a few .....p.s. i think josh JK has got some balls and i give him some respect for trying to help problems out with some members ..seems like a decent guy ...peace out josh bruv ....if i get my bits ,i will of course give jk another go :)
     
  17. We're all only human and sometimes mistakes are made. It's how they're put right that counts. Personally, I've never had a problem with the supplier in question and I've made dozens of orders from them. As for recon parts, I just assumed this was normal. The steering box I bought from another supplier (often highly rated on this site) was a recon - with no mention of that on their website. Then again, it works like new (well the first one didn't and was slightly leaking so I got it replaced), so job's a good 'un, as they say. No worries. Sad though, how bad news travels fast yet good news never get's a mention.
     
  18. good news travels faster thats why i shop at cool air and megabug now .....plus u gota shout the bad news to stop others getting burnt ..i do this with all shops,campsites,etc,etc.......word of mouth is far the best advertising ......

    p.s. johnny is now available for stud work so i heard !!!!pregnancy troubles,over active wifey ...let johnny take the strain out of relationship .spread the word people.....oap discounted rates .
