  4. Here are the latest set of photos for Bitsy, she has now got a complete new set of jacking points and outriggers, new front, new passenger seat box, new floor panel RHS, new RHS tall outer sill, new inner sills on offside, new rear wheel arch panels, new rear corners and is currently having a new lower front, and nearside sills, track, etc and a new bottom skin, inner and outer to the side door. But, there is still the roof and the rest of the floor and rear seat belt points to do and I will be having the rear valance made removable as I thought it would make future work on the engine and engine bay easier.

  7. Your doing a great job keep it up dude

  8. Got all my sliding door bits now, all the body panels sorted, all the front brake parts and front wheel bearings and need to turn my attention to the pedal area and servo master cylinder area, does anybody have any good pictures of the under side showing the front pedal area and where the servo/master cylinder mounts with associated pipework and connecting rods etc, I don't think the original bus had a servo but, cannot really tell as the original mastercylinder is just a large lump of rust now, well I am assuming it was the original I found it in the back of the van under a pile of junk.

  14. Just realised that I may have made the obvious mistake, I decided to fit adjustable spring plates to my van so when I stripped the originals off, I didn't bother to mark them!!!!! but, now of course the issue is how do I fit the new ones? Any ideas peeps?

    Guess then adjust.

  16. Simple two step procedure then?

  17. basically you're looking to get the spring plates at the same angle off the stops... then you can fine tune with the adjusters once it's all back together!!

  18. This where I'm at so far:

Welding almost finished, just got rear roof section, passenger seat mounts, rear seat belt mounts, side door bottom inner and outer, top chassis leg in engine bay and heater pipe to sort then ready for paint, I think.

  19. great work, it will soon be ready for summer :)

  20. Thanks Diddy, it would be nice to think so but, with a wedding for my daughter to contend with too, I doubt it. Plus, I am finding the biggest problem is I don't know what I am missing till I start trying to put it back together and just when I think I have crack a complete list for a job something else crops up I never thought of.

But, there is certainly a joy in seeing even small jobs completed!
