Wilma's 40th Birthday Tour of Blackpool Illuminations, 26-28 October 2012

We are travelling up after work on Sat so will have to meet you all somewhere in Blackpool first we think before going to campsite. Anyone know of a place to meet up?

I am typing on my phone I''ve worked out how to read the forum a bit quicker anyway ..... we are leaving early sat morning no idea how long it will take us.
what time are we meeting up in Blackpool because we may do that then follow back to the campsite

there's a few folks meeting us at Blackpool, anyone know Blackpool really well that can suggest a biggish meeting place for us all to wait for the rundfahrters and stragglers? )

From the campsite we'll be aiming to leave at about 6.30 ish (or there abouts), getting to Blackpool for about 7 (if the traffic is heavy) and then we'll trundle toward the tower, round and back again, need to get onto a route guide to see what's best.

We're not going away this weekend now so we'll try to work it all out

 

We aren't going to get to Blackpool until some time after 7 I reckon. Sat nav says one hour from here but in the van that usually means about 1.15
Leave work at 5.30, then get away from home before 6, so Blackpool 7.15 hopefully.

Hmmm ok I'm thinking ........... right I have made a decision ....... will wait to find out where we are meeting up then will work out whether to go straight to the run through meet up point

Hello! I'm a newbie, to vans and forum, but we get our van back this week and would love to join you for the lights run (we live close to Blackpool!) any more news of meet up point Saturday?
