Arthur is packed - extra duvets and ski jackets, hats & gloves are in. Jaegermeister, red bull and mango vodka safely stashed in the cupboard, as in breakfast for tomorrow. Fairy lights (purchased last minute this afternoon on way home from London) are outside getting a blast of sun to charge them (I hope). New oil filled radiator is in so it can be left on all night, and the fan heater for blasting during waking hours is in too.

Think we're all set ;D

I say "we" - the boy has dibbed out, so it's a girls n mutts trip only : ^-^

 

To all those who are consumed with jealousy and wishing they were here with us... We have been sat in nigh-on stationary traffic for the last hour, queuing to get to the illuminations. Haven't even seen an illumination yet, just the back of the Yipbus. And it's started raining. The most exciting thing to happen in the last hour was being told off by a copper for being sat glumly in a box junction.

 

the last and only time i went to drive through exactly the same happened....... maybe doing it on the 1st weekend of half term wasn't a good plan.

 

Illuminations ahoy!!

 

Sorry we had to bail, it was so nice meeting you all.... Can't wait for the next meet up!!!

from last years sloes that were frozen,
