I think so. If you have 2 holes in the wardrobe put the wardrobe in place and mark through the holes with a pencil and see where the pencil marks come on the bulkhead. I'll attach more pictures, you will see one now I've moved the seat forward and the shiny head of the bolt can be seen in a pressed in 'dimple ' in the bulkhead. Ignore the wire you see, it's for my multi changer on top of the wardrobe. 20220710_135634.jpg 20220710_135109.jpg

  2. That is great thank you. They almost look like rubber door stops? That might be the only option as I doubt they are available from anywhere.

Can you also tell me are they also used for the sink unit as well by the sliding door behind the passenger seat bulkhead?

    thanks

I guess rubber door stops would do the trick, you may have to cut them down to the correct thickness...a bit of trial and error. I'm sure diy places Wickes,B&Q, Screwfix, Toolstation etc (others are available) will have something, they don't have to be genuine Westfalia.
I don't have any between the passenger seat bulkhead and the sink unit. It fits quite snug up to the bulkhead. Hope this is of some use.

Not that I have come across.
    Mine were all snug.

    Cool box/fridge.

    Drivers side with wardrobe behind.

    Webbing is quite superfluous.
Please note seat stopper on the rail.

  5. Thanks for all the help so far guys. I am getting there. One thing that I do find curious is that the bolts through the wardrobe end up sitting at the bottom of those indents of the drivers’s seat bulkhead. It makes me wonder if the floor in my van should be higher.

I have for the moment put a sheet of 9mm plywood in the corrugated part of the load areA so that the top of the ply almost sits level with the edges of the floor that a slightly raised above the sills on both sides.

I still wonder what the original plywood flooring combination was because presumably there was covering on the very outside higher edges of the floor.

Yes, the original was filled with 9mm like you have done then with a layer of approx 3mm + some vinyl on top to the door threshold and opposite side.

  7. Can any of you tell me how the side seat goes where the swing out table is? I have the kick panel and support bar behind but nothing else.

I can cut a bit of plywood like I did for the seat bed boards but is there some other brackets missing, how does it sit/attach?

I'll put some pictures on. Your panels and support bar look correct. The top is made from ply, probably 12mm but that is not important I guess. The upholstery is nominally 3inch/75mm thick. There is a rubber "door stop" screwed underneath to stop the seat sliding off onto the floor. There is a wedge shaped cushion providing a backrest against the bus side.

I think someone added the doorstop, mine didn't have anything but never fell off.

  11. Can you just clarify for me, does the plywood overhang the kickboard? Also does the plywood simply extend back towards the side of the van as far as it will go? I don't understand what stops it sliding too far back and hitting the side panel of the van below the window?

Is the wedged shape cushion for the backrest screwed into place or is it just loose?

  12. I sort of expected the angle between the bed kick panel and side seat kick panel to be at 90 degrees. Seems not for me, is this what you guys have as well?

The plywood "seat" only overhangs the kickboard by about 5mm. It fits right up to the side of the van without any gaps. The size of the plywood is 470mm x 630mm. The backrest cushion is loose, not attached and is 100mm at its base tapering to 20mm nominally at the top. I have checked the angle between the bed and side kickboards and get 90 degrees or thereabouts.

  14. I hope baydreamer doesn't mind me posting on his thread. The nla early westfalia hinges say they are for 3/4 width beds. Is there any reason they couldn't be used for full width? I really like the westfalia continental bed with the thicker foam.

    Edit
Just had another look and can see why those hinges are only for 3/4 width beds. I guess the only solution is to get lucky and find some continental hinges.
