Stuck oil in it . Stuck a stash of front door lock mechanisms in the back, a small quantity of tools, a few SVDA distributors because I am not using a distributor at the moment..
Fitted new shiny wheel .. max load 675kg so it just exceeds my 92XL tyre by 40kg..

  7. Might want to cover the glass over with something marzy as you’ll end up with Molten steel bits stuck in it.

Or stick some tape over the holes put it back on the van and come to techenders :)

Checked rear brakes and valve gaps. Gaps all fine, one click on 3 adjusters, 5 clicks on the other which had the only noticeably worn shoe so I think I can conclude my rear brakes are probably not good but no idea why. Maybe he compensator isn't, or is all the time/too easily.

I changed the leisure battery for a new one, as I should be getting more than one night from my CPAP machine, particularly with the fridge off.

Then I wiped down all the interior woodwork with Danish Oil, as well as protecting it, it brought out the grain pattern in the wood, very nice. It takes a few days to dry properly, so I’ve left the Louvre windows open.

Took out just enough TE junk, plugged back into the mains, working from home in it.
Then after work I chucked a small extension ladder in the back and drove down to the boat yard to change a couple of banjo bolts on the boat engine that I thought I had stretched.

Well I had these on the shelf for a couple of years so thought I might as well fit them but I’m not sure I like them ?

I’ll give them a few days, suppose the real test will be to use them at night

The old ones the light fell out of them, just about made it over the bumper and lit a small pool on the road

They look a bit like mine? When it came to headlights I had quite a box full but those were the only pair. Flat glass, pattern on the reflector?
With halogen bulbs I believe you take out that shading bit in the middle that I might be able to see?
