To my regret I lost a rear mudflap on the beach a few years back, it had the original suppliers name embossed on it, like the other side, but unfortunately they don’t supply them any more so I had to buy a couple of oversized rubber generic flaps to fabricate one.

    Pretty pleased with the result.

Adjusted the tappets. Found BDC and TDC to mark up the new Brazilian pulley that had no markings apart from a faint scratch at BDC and faint scratch markings that may be 7, 10, 20 and 30 BTDC . Took plugs out to find TDC / BDC as well as checking it with keyway at 90 degrees left for TDC or 90 right for BDC.

While pulling spark plug leads off , two of the steel spark plug clips on the Taylor Spiro leads fell off as they were corroded. Took some brass clips off an old Bosch centre lead, the Taylor leads use the cap on the spark plug so the Bosch ends fit with a bit of a squeeze..

  15. I thought Motorhomes were tested as class 4?

So you’d think, but apparently that’s classed as 7 for some obscure reason, I have been meaning to ask, but admit I’ve been lax

    Oh, it’s a LT50 5 ton.

  18. There’s a exemption for horseboxes like Malcs

  19. Could be because over 5 ton, I know dads old motorhome which was 4.2 ton was a class 4, but had to go to a place that also did class 7 due to it’s size.
