  1. Got the reverse lights working . Put the new painted dash top loosely in place and started changing the heater cables- one had seized so I have had to slice the conduit to get the old one out .

But in the meantime loaded Gusbus up with junk for the recycling centre.

  5. No, heater's in already. Ebers pump has been waiting down the back for about two years. It's about time the two were joined in heatery togetherness. Lumpy thing is a brake servo, which needs a vac hose running rear to front.

Removed old master cylinder, swapped for new ATE one I've had in a box for about five years. He put up a fight coming out. Still holds pressure, but time for a quiet retirement. Switch and reservoir will be cleaned and used on the new one.

Look at the state of that brake fluid .

Mine was the old style dark version brake fluid, too.

  8. I think a lot of the dark in mine was dissolved rubber seals at each end of the tube connecting top of cylinder reservoir with the reservoir in the cab.. wasn't much of those left..

New ones waiting to be swapped for the ptfe holding solution

I'll be wanting a full write up if fitting an Eber please.. got a utilities van removed one in a box waiting to go in but it's got a lot of 'spare' loom to come out

  9. I don't think there's such a thing as "dark-style" fluid ;) It's iron oxide from the calipers and cylinders that discolours it, I believe.

  10. Yep, can do a write up. What model Ebers have you got?

If it's an old diesel one from a BT van, might be quite knackered, tho' - they lead a hard life.

    I like my sleep :D

Plus it was too cold last night up in Notts, despite being hot in the day.

  14. It's a D2.. doesn't look to bad or old.., from a works van but not BT, with a universal Ebar heat cool controller so guess that did air conditioner too..

Noted I ought to tidy up and finish off my stainless steel air hoses..
One side light seems to have stopped working.
And the oil pressure sensor is misreading like it hasnt got a proper ground any more...
