Push firmly home all HT leads.... Cured my kangarooing.

 

Cleaned it loaded it for camping - at last!

 

Nose in the air for the next week.

 

Used it to tow a sailing dinghy. The first time I have towed anything with my bus.

Put the mast on the roof as its only a metre and a bit longer than the bus.



Energency repairs after putting my foot through it .. and not sinking...



And there was another hole when I poked it with a screwdriver. .




Filled with bits of wood, primer slapped on as its going to rain tonight.

The boat is the same age as my bus, had major repairs in 1978 (collision) and 1985 ( mast poked a hole in it after my dad sold it to somebody and my dad was so sad, bought it back and had it repaired)

 

Is your Bus the same colour as your dingy?

 

Yes , its a coincidence . The boat was always that colour. And my yacht similarly.. theres a blue and white theme. No I am not a Russian.

Cleaned and re gapped plugs. Changed oil in engine AND filter Bath. Getting ready to go out in it,in a bit, with any luck.

 

Snapped bumpstops off in the forest of Bowland. Hit a pothole at 40.

I've done about 80 miles on them prior to this trip probably the reason the previous owner never had any fitted

I've smashed into mine, taken off on bridges and landed and generally I'm very hard on my suspension. Bits don't tear off. New beam time for peace of mind if it were me.

 

Would you recommend a beam supplier or would you try and frond a decent 2nd hand one?

I prefer an original but it's a long time since I bought one.

 

What's the occasion, going to give it a tickle?

 

I think he`s giving the front an airing , as we all should do occasionally ...

 

Washed it and gave the Poptop a wax. A job I hate as it’s so awkward.

Drove it back 150 miles from a weekend camping in the Brecon Beacons.

 

Stuffing this lot in in one hit, while I still have some (minimal) enthusiasm to get under the van.

Note old brake fluid the colour of horse urine .

 

Heater?

That reminds me I need to change my brake fluid too
