    Because he paid for the hospital? Because he was a scheming barsteward threatening all and sundry one to one while keeping up his ridiculous charade in public?

    How anyone ever fell for it is a mystery. The man was creepy from the word go. Money talks?

    based on the fact it was done years ago and the sentencing wasn't as bad then - insane!

    I think you will always get these exaggerated claims in cases like the Saville case. The daily mirror are just relaying rumour as far as I can read. It isn't substantiated in the write up at all.
