Guess insertion is d-bolt with tape to hold the new bush, nut in front of bush and tap with hammer gently

Positive to hole is clean to receive the bush, but photo shows something at the very rear. I assume this is part of the front of engine or a stop ?

I do strange thought experiments, what tools, or what improvised tools to use or what to do it what order. I like chunking tasks. Usually pays off with me anyway.

Generally irritates people around me though - sat in a Budder pose next to Nellie

Another time I freaked out my manager by telling him I had dreamed about an argument I had with him. And that I had lost the argument in my dream, so I wasnt going to bother with making that point to start the argument for real.

Now I keep myself working on the bus by inventing deadlines. One of them would be doing a job like the starter motor bush, then I can have a cup of coffee or some lunch..
Or setting myself 6 hours to do a job.
