Serious question. Are you still enjoying bay ownership?

I think that the Scooby engine is going to give me a new love for my bus. The breakdowns, mine and the vans, have made this year a bit of a pain, but we've still done six weeks of camping.

Sent from my Motorhome at Chatsworth ;)

  4. It's been a drag this year because I only got it back 1 week before going away and have had to spend a lot of time setting up the FI. The plan is that it is 100% ready to go in the spring and then the work will be worth it.

I'm enjoying Bay ownership at the moment. probably because it's SORNed and not causing me grief and costing me money every time I go out in it! Seriously though I wouldn't dream of selling it.

  7. Wilma is our main source of holidays and socialising, we had a few rough years when one thing after another went wrong, but we learnt to plan ahead and packed a book, butties and ski wear for the long waits for the big orange taxi :D

    Wouldn't be without her

  8. I'm enjoying mine still. The wife will only go away in the camper with me and the two kids for a maximum of 3/4 nights then we normally have a cottage or villa booked for the rest of the holiday. I go fishing alone in it which is bliss. Don't see me getting shot of it anytime soon but those bigger motor homes do look very nice.

  10. Yes - It would be a shame if there was a permanent split in the ranks!

  11. @Foxy you have the answer, compromise and flexibility, short spells of camping with family, nice comfortable warm cottage to pamper the wife and fishing trips alone. wonderful, everyone is happy.

Still love it after ten or so years ownership. We must have spent well over 100 nights in it this year so far.
