I coughed in the doctors waiting room yesterday, the look I got from the receptionist was that of 'cough again your gettin both barrels sunshine'

 

My mum was in Lidl last week and said the young girl at the till was in tears from how people had been treating her. Mum gave her the Lidl deluxe chocs she'd just bought and a hug.

 

was in home bargains today (yes i know a cheap shop not my cup of tea but the missis likes it) they put a load of toilet rolls on the shelf and woosh gone the last 5 carried out by one woman now that is boris's herd mentality - meanwhile next door in b&m's they were stacked out with toilet rolls oh how i larfed

 

The various "panics" are down to constant updates people get from all of the media...

some people are not as smart as their smart phone...
usually the plebs who can't put the feckinn thing down...

 

Just got an email from my mate in Virginia, it's the same their except people are mass buying guns because they think their own are gonna be taken away from them. Can you kill Corona virus by shooting it ?

Bloke in front of me didn't have much in his basket, but was told he could only have 4 tins of evaporated milk.

I asked him if they were essential, he said its all his mrs drinks, so I bought them for him.

I Refused the money he offered and refused the handshake!

I smiled at everyone in the supermarket and went about my business in a calm fashion.

I thanked the cashier.

Once home I gave my phone number and offer of help to a variety of local old people.

Spread the love people.

The virus can bring out the worst, but lets do our bit to bring out the best.

 

Leadership and clarity.

Self isolation means you need to rely on someone to fetch your food needs and deliver to the door.....and each of you reciprocate when they are ill and you aren't.

It’s not starving to death, and trying to best guess what you need for the next 18 months.

Medical care, food, utilities, blue light and military take priority and allowed to do this food will get through.

If the government (all parties) acted in unison, stopped trying to best guess the end game and concentrated on the fight in front of them we’d be in a better position.

Our media forgot the news and relevance when they aligned solidly to advertising revenue. The surest buy is a panic buy, so sensationalism rules. The whole lot are set up that way.


If people still don’t understand why theBBC is so important, hopefully cometh the hour, cometh the service.

 

The Lidl near me was pretty well stocked yesterday ... everyone seemed pretty civil ... how long that lasts I have no idea, I did forget the tonic and lemons for my gin they weren't one my list. There was no toilet roll not that we need it yet. I reckon this could be the start of me losing the couple of stone I need to lose.

 

She was probably too big to go shopping

 

Big Tesco’s near us had no pasta, bog roll, cans and paracetamol, past that, other than now closing at 12 it was normal....but really really quiet.



Local garage had all of the above, I didn’t buy any as I was busy filling Jerry cans, empty pop bottles, fairy liquid etc with petrol...

Lidl had some pasta apparently you were allowed to buy two but I only bought one, notably absent from the shelves was UHT long life semi skimmed milk. There was a couple in front of me clearly "stocking up".

 

Went into Lidl at 8am to pick up some juice for work, only 4 bottles left no bread, no canned food, no toilet roll and a full car park.

This country needs a genocide, There i said it.

 

Hopefully you’ll be lucky, last I heard the distribution centres are still well stocked, it’s just that every time a delivery is made to a store it gets panic bought before being fully put on shelf’s

 

I went shopping and people were buying white bread flour (but no yeast), pasta (but no sauce), white rice (again, apparently to eat by itself) UHT milk and dried pot noodle type things. Why do people who bought just that stuff think they need loo roll? They’ll be so stuffed up that they’re more likely to need one of those small sewing kits by the shoe polish, to stitch themselves up once a month after birthing the biggest, driest turd known to man.

Funny you mention the fuel , I planned to pop in and fill up the works van on the way home only to find 10 or so pricks queuing down the road waiting their turn ...

Hopefully they were waiting for the next bog roll delivery but I doubt it ...
