    What does he do drag the motors in and fillets them ready for conversions .
     
  5. No there both 8mm standard vw fi you go tank 8mm fuel line vw fi fuel filter 10 or 11mm can't remember fuel line fuel pump 8mm up to engine 8mm back to tank

  7. You need the return pipe warm first, have you put a heater in?

    You need some revs to get the coolant flowing while there are air locks.

    The water pump is crap at pumping air

    You don't need extra bleed valves anywhere

  8. No heater just a loop
    been holding it about 2000 rpm and was getting bubbles the last time I did no bubbles
    But also no heat from bottom hose

  10. Yes that is and the top hose is too about half way down the pipe to the rad

  11. Just keep Persevering with it, add more water Coolant. Leave it jacked up and the cap off the coolant bottle overnight too so it can bleed naturally.
    It really does need some revs to push the coolant round and the air out.

  18. hello gentlemen

    your piping should pass through the frame, for added safety.
    flexible stainless steel hoses are a good solution.

    on the photo you can see my pipes during the evolution of my radiator.

  19. Test drive no 2 done and all good
    cruise down the by pass temps held steady
    Fans came on as I was putting him away
