I got near enough all of my stuff including rad pack from RJES. All fits perfectly. Nick Tune does shortened sumps and pkrboo for the exhaust.
I had the same issue but Matt said he would assist and did so by lining up and welding on the support bar so RJES it was.
Oil level for 2.0 is 4L so just make sure you put that amount in. I think what I did was measure 3.5L and then mark the dipstick, then put 4L in and then marked dipstick again, now have a max & a min level on dipstick.
The dipstick level, if you fill to the dipstick level then you are underfilling. After spending months on installing the conversion I could have cooked it first drive out. If oyu put 4L in with a smaller sump then where the extra oil going ? Pkrboo gave me the info to work it all out, it was in the build thread
It’s a smaller [sump] as in less deep but wider so still 4L. Must have missed your build thread or just forgotten
Just a thought before I research rads but wouldn't it make more sense (for water flow) to have inlet at the front and outlet at opposite rear corner ??
Everything now ordered apart from what I've forgot Next daft question When I am putting the engine in I was going to just use my big trolly jack But on watching to many YouTube videos a lot of people seem to use a engine crane would I save myself a lot of hassle by getting one (yes I ve got a access hatch )
You've got a flat bottom sump, so yeah just a trolley jack on that (bit of wood in between) Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
Next question There coming in a total random order What did you all use to attach the the radpack to The chassis rails
I always go with van on ramps and engine down on a jack. Used to give just enough clearance under the rear bumper…type 4 engine btw.
