  1. That does mean Nigel more-comebacks-than-status-quo Farage will be back again though

  2. I think May's response to a nurse in the audience of one of here few TV debates confirmed it for me. She stated that her pay packet had effectively been frozen since 2009, to which May replied something along the lines of " well there isn't a magic money tree that we can pay for everything that people want". I suppose that's easy to say if you've already earned enough in your life to never need to work again......

So the magic money tree can sustain reduced rates of Corporation and high earner income tax.......................but not public sector pay increases to even match inflation, or an education budget that doesn't require schools to send begging letters to parents.

  3. Time to debate was before the election ... what's left its a *****ing shambles

That's my political contribution until the clocks go back from Woody, Wilf, Monkeyvanwestybike or whoever else I might be today.

  4. Democracy, the worst possible way of governing except for all the other ones.

I'll put a fiver on there being a general election within six months. Any takesrs?

  5. Probably the same special advisers that she had to sack when she had that spat with Gove when he was Education Minister, the ones she reinstated as soon as she blagged the top job....

One of them became a lobbyist for a company that had Cuadrilla as a client and surprise surprise, Cuadrilla had huge fracking applications granted not long after May became PM...........................

  6. I'll put a fiver on Labour deciding when the next election will be, whether they'll feel they've made enough extra ground in 6 months to call a no confidence vote or whether they'll wait a year I'm not so sure

  7. I am too overjoyed for many words today, but I will say this......
A great campaign fought by a strong party & assured leader, the people or rather the young have spoken, we will not stand for the tory austerity measure politics any longer! Jeremy Corbyn's future is bright but David Cameron, Theresa May & all their other cronies will go down in history as the ones who royally dry b***** the country & f***** our economy! Roll on the next election!

I suppose they are all heading to Tory HQ to take part in the traditional 'stabbing each other in the back' ceremony that usually follows results like this.

  15. Yes to be clear about this from the mainstream press's point of view.

If you go and talk to Sinn Fein about peace you're a friend of the terrorists.

If you go and talk to the DUP about Brexit that's good for the country.

Press bias? What press bias? They're a different kind of terrorists.

  16. Superbly put. Northern Irelands issues are now our ,mainstream issues. Just when you thought it couldnt get any worse eh!

  17. In brief this whole shambles is due to the tory party trying to sort its own issues out and completely misjudging the public mood re brexit. The media will blitz labour with a vengeance from now on as no seat will be safe in a by election!

  18. I think she would have won @Dicky if it wasent for those 2 attacks, people completely lost faith in her as a leader plus it was her police cuts that left us exposed.

  19. @Lord Congi It was the other day when she said "this country hasn't done enough about terrorism"... and then everyone pointed out she had been the longest serving home secretary in history, i.e. the person who's job it is to do something about terrorism.
