Bit more of an update... aiming to have a fair chunk of welding done by the end of tomorrow B pillar done outer sill inner tub lip repaired C Pillar fixed rear arch skin tacked on fully welded Still got a fair bit to do on this side, but it should be done tomorrow
A bit more... not all that I've done, but I've not photo'd everything yet Interesting Rear chassis corner welded in rear corner edge in corner tacked in welded and blended rear valance needed a couple of repairs bit of top hat for the front JP welded in bit of TH on the rear JP B pillar in the door shut tacked in welded in & seat belt mount closing off I've closed that all off, but not photo'd it yet!! Little bit more welding on this side, then I'm round the other side
Some tidy work and good skills going on there Paul, These buses have stopped surprising me at their ability to rust, conceal repairs & yet sometimes still look ok when on the road!
Few more pics for those that love them so the bottom of the back window was pretty rotten... so I lopped that out tacked in a new piece all welded in and blended new trim clip on done a few more bits, but that is it for now...
Nice work going on there My welding seems to go from almost spot on with the practice pieces to pants when the gun hits the bus! Mr B

Thanks for the reply Checked the fit of the arch against the C pillar again last night and it looks as though the curve of the new panel doesn't match which is a bit of a pain! The arch profile matches that of the new outer sill so I may have to re work the bottom of the C pillar to get the fit Thought I'd finished with the cutting disk for a while but hey ho! Mr B
Nice to see you haven't lost your touch Paul. Why did you have to move so far away, it's pics like this that make me think twice about taking the Shatsuma in for a bit of a tidy up. I dread to think what lurks beneath a bit of surface rust.
Todays hacking sessions got me this far... bit more prep to do in the morning, then new steel going in!! Took the front panel off to sort the O/S A pillar... got a new one to go in!! Mid sill up front is a little shot!! found some old accident damage on the side... 5mm of filler on the top of that said filler more tomorrow
