Some tidy work and good skills going on there Paul,

These buses have stopped surprising me at their ability to rust, conceal repairs & yet sometimes still look ok when on the road!

  8. nicely done mate,

made a great job of that lower corner :)

  9. Few more pics for those that love them ;)

  10. Nice work going on there

My welding seems to go from almost spot on with the practice pieces to pants when the gun hits the bus!

  12. Nicely done dude

Its nice to see someone who still takes pride in there own work regardless of the task

Cant wait for the prep and paint pics so i know what to expect

  13. Really good work going on there. Did you make your own repair piece for the rear tub?

  17. Thanks for the reply

Checked the fit of the arch against the C pillar again last night and it looks as though the curve of the new panel doesn't match which is a bit of a pain!

The arch profile matches that of the new outer sill so I may have to re work the bottom of the C pillar to get the fit

Thought I'd finished with the cutting disk for a while but hey ho!

  18. Nice to see you haven't lost your touch Paul.

Why did you have to move so far away, it's pics like this that make me think twice about taking the Shatsuma in for a bit of a tidy up. I dread to think what lurks beneath a bit of surface rust.

  20. Todays hacking sessions got me this far... bit more prep to do in the morning, then new steel going in!!
