and here is the colour combo for the camper

  7. So after having some nasal/sinus virus/infection for about a week, I finally managed to have a light duties day and got some work done

So as the weather was Marmitee, and the new polystyrene turned up in the post this morning I decided that I'd crack on and get the pop top all tied up and ready for install!!

New poly in place and glued down!!

    All clipped in
    [IMG]

    Outer seal all clipped in

    Roof vent fitted

  12. So after another scraping session - I think that's around 12/14hrs worth of scraping now
I got a little more paint on the chassis tonight... will finish off in the morning

Dropped a new bit of brakeline in, as the old one was starting to rust bad
    [IMG]

    Front tub all scraped out!!

Pulled the beam to make my life easier ;)

Painted... just need to go over where I masked off, as I didn't want it going on too thick and then cause me issues getting the beam back on!!

    Another angle
    [IMG]

So that's the front end done.. Just got the rear tubs, over the gearbox area, and the rear chassis rails/battery trays left to do!!

  13. That top has come up really nice, looks great :)

  14. Cheers dude 8)

No pictures today, but the chassis is now painted

And I've started getting the front panel skimmed up with some filler... smooth as a babies bum by tomorrow eve

  15. we like smooth ;D

  16. almost smooth... A bit more sanding and we'll be there!!

I hate photo's like this... always looks worse than what it is

Stripped the old paint and filler off the D/S - I've got this side mostly skimmed back in now.. unfortunately due to the damage this side has had, a lot of the metal has stretched, so I've had to wag a load of filler back on to it... but a damn site less than what there was

Then while I was waiting on some filler curing off, I dug out the fitting kit for the rear anti-roll bar..
