Cheers mate , yeah get some pics up . I use my phone but other than that it's photo bucket as all you have to do is up load the pics from a file on your computer then once there in photo bucket you copy the image code and paste it on here if all that makes Sense
I've now got new brake discs and the old callipers fitted with new pads but has anyone got some pics of the brake pipes into the callipers as mine are all bent . I've also started on the anti roll bar but that did not go as well ow and I've hopefully brought the ride hight up abit will soon find out one it's back in the ground . All in all I feel abit better for doing something tonight
Had a mind block and ended up ordering 2 seatbelt mount plates and a van cover carnt think what else I needed , ow well I'll soon find out when I carnt do anymore work due to lack of parts
Got the iner and out steering arm ball joints done today plus cables and gear linkage but the linkage does not work properly and I've took the steering arm off from the top of the beam to the steering box to take another ball joint off but it will not move looks like they are clamped ? Has anyone changed this it also snapped the bottom off my new vice
I think your right mate just been looking at it I'll need to buy a new one 42 pound from jk But it needs it , you can see faint lines on the rod like its been crimped
Well I another update as I've got the brakes done with new flex pipes and the roll bar plus a bit of welding on the front rail so once I get the drag link here the van can go on the floor . Also ha to order another few parts best too not let the wife no the cost . And this morning my jk cover and belt mounts turned up
Cheers dude them clips are a pain I had to clamp the hell out of them and hope for the best . It worked but nearly lost a few knuckles lol
I cut the old ones of as they had been there a while I did end up rounding one of the mounting bolts off too . Don't think I'll be changing them for a while
I've been enjoying this thread since you started it. You were blazing along at one point then you stopped and I thought you might give up, but no! You have mustered up the guts to press on and I'm really pleased - so many people give up when they're in honesty nearly there. You're nearly there and a great job you've made of it.
