I did get it MOT d and tax but did not use it for long due to engine trouble so why that was out of the bay I started cutting :)

  8. Ash its not until you look back at old pics the pinch yourself as to just how much you have achieved - The bus is a credit to you and your wife. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

  9. Cheers Dale , it does look a little different now and to think I've had it over a year is mad .
Will be more happy once I've sorted the sliding door out and put some more paint on or winter it's just work gets in the way

  10. Well after going to work with a bad head and deciding I did not want to stay at work so I went home .
After chilling for a bit I got board and thought at some point I need to bring my trailer tent out from behind the van as we are taking it away soon .

So after moving 2 golfs 1 camper and a trailer tent twice it final in front of my van so then I started sanding little bits and haveing a good look over what I need .
I then ended up at the paint suppliers to get more sanding pads and ended up with sanding pads , stoper and a slide hammer
I used the slide hammer on the trailer then turned to adding a little stoper in places on the back off the bus :) sorry for the crap update lol here are some pics ow and the wife said that the van would not be going past the back door into the garden , soon changed her mind when she wanted a trailer tent lol [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I forgot how much work you put into your bay...the results are paying off! keep at it, next year for completion?

  12. Cheers Mork i line looking at my old pics of what's been done , still got more to up load .
Hopefully have her back running and ready for the road in the next 6 months only thing is ice insured it again but I carnt use it lol

I think it looks better in the pics as it's mostly roller painted but once fully sprayed on and flat and polished it should look ok

theres nothing like a bit of shiney polished paint!!

  14. very true dont think mine will be as shiney as yours but ill try

  15. Keep at it dude your doing well

  16. June is really starting to take shape. I forgot that you already had the engine sorted. Looking forward to seeing the paint go on. Are you spraying the Rustoleum on? I painted a piece of steel over a year ago with Rustoleum (7 coats rollered on with no primer, then wet flatted & polished) and then left it in the garden since, to see how it weathered. I must say it's weathered well with no deterioration at all, still nice & shiny ^-^

    Keep up the good work

  17. Cheers busman , I'm hoping to spray it with rustoleum then flat and buff it but in some ways its easier with a roller .
The finish is pretty good for what type of paint it is but does take some working with I personal think it does hold rust back really well as I've had a panel outside for ages in all weathers and found no faults :)

Buddy - that's a scary amount of work with no garage!

Are you lead loading all of the bits that need it? I'd really like to replace the filler in mine with something that doesn't suck moisture!! Any tips on where to learn how to do it?
