  1. shielsy is THE DADDY Ash

  2. I will use that bit of advise just got to find a pencil I know there is one in my work van some were its just finding it lol it's like narnia

  3. Was meant to get some more done of the van today but I didn't as the wife was helping in the in laws house ,hopefully will be on it all day tomorrow but I won't be putting new bearing in the rear hub yet as I carn't spend more money on the van as I've sold my house and brought another and all my money will be going on fees etc plus once I move the van will have to take a back seat while I do work on the new house ,on a plus side I will have a garage but on the down side I don't think the van is going to fit in it so the door will be coming off for a roller Shutter to go in its place and I may bring the garage forward a bit too .
Best to wait until I have the house first lol

  4. Went out and done abit more today ,got the rear hub on then had to take it off because I did not fit the rubber ring behind the spring plate :/ so sorted that problem then done some welding and found a little rust hole on the chassis leg that turned into a big bit being cut out and plated up .
The rear hub is on but still needs the brakes finishing and the castle nuts doing up once one bearing is done as I've found the wheel nuts don't go on enough because the hub is not tighten up .
Anyway I put the van back on the floor ready to be moved at some point and the drivers side is final as low as the other side after taking some measurements it may be a tad lower on the passengers side but it is on un level ground so I'll take more measurements once I find a level spot .
Don't think I'll be doing a lot on the van for a while but if I find some spare time I'll crack on

  5. we need pics Ash

  6. Will try and get some of the rear now it's low and of the repairs ,just not easy with a I pad were the van is parked lol

  7. praise the lowered Ash

  8. Yes indeed ,have smacked my head in the boot twice though
Only pics I could get are these hopefully you can see the difference also I fitted the bumpers as they were in the way ,the rear bumper is fitted closer to the back of the van as I like the look of it better ,not really sure how far they normally stick out .
Seems loads lower to me but I've been looking at it up in the air on stands for ages

  9. how do you fancy some nice custom overriders to set that off

  10. Have been going over the idea mate ,I've got the template to make them as standard but may go for the same size as standard but with a different design if that makes sense, you are my first port of call for that :)
I carn't get hold of the bloke about your plates mate think he is away at the moment but I'll keep trying

  11. I will sort out the sizes etc

  12. Ok mate send me the sizes , I think he can do them as they are doing most pack and silver plates in the same way they done yours by use vinyl

  13. good luck with the house move dude

  14. Cheers dude , hope it's all goes well so I can move in good time just best to start sorting all my parts out as there is more in my shed tat what's in the house lol

  15. Been to have another look at the new house today ,hopefully it still all goes well .
Have a look int the garage and took some sizes did forget to measure the length but I'm sure it will fit length ways , as for the hight due to me lowering the van all round it will fit in the hight wise ,it even goes under the garage door :)
Well this is the plan anyway so I'm happy it should fit in there

  16. The time has gone for me to empty the shed of parts and junk so nothing done on the van as such , but it does now have two fridges and a cooker on board , not working but there in there .
Did not know just how much crap I've got in that shed .
Van won't be worked on until after we have moved house :(

  17. Thought I'd say hello on here again as I've not updated for a while , we are moved into the new house and June gone back from my dads house just round the corner .
Was fun towing it while the steering was not setup :)
Anyway today is the only time I've really thought about the am or touched it so I decided to clear the garage to see if the van goes in without hitting the ceiling I had already took some sizes so I was going to fit but wanted to see it .
And I was right it does fit but with my tools and bike on the left hand side I carnt get to the back of the van so a shed will be needed to move some junk out . Hopefully get some done on it soon [IMG]
