  1. I don't think this is a joke, millions of people are losing or have lost their livelihoods. Unfortunately we will see the suicide rate increase ...

  2. I agree wholeheartedly but it's a real problem to me and millions of others who abide by the rules and do the best we can only for some idiots in responsible positions to abuse that position.
    It's not only 'Barney-gate' either ...
I have a friend whose sister moves in high places and regularly attends dinner parties hosted by various 'celebs' . Last one i heard she attended was hosted by Liam of the Gallagher fame , with 30 odd business/celeb/ex-politicians not giving a toss ...

  3. Well Farage is now wading in. Planning to change the name of his party from Brexit to Reform and will be campaigning against lockdown. Be interesting to see how that goes down with some on here....

Invite him onto the forum just so you can immediately ban him! :D

It's about time he crawled back under his rock and stayed there

  9. Last lockdown we followed the rules and we have done since, without returning to debate the accuracy of the data presented, I don't think this lockdown will make much difference, there's a certain element of the population who will stick two fingers up and carry on. Others will follow the guidelines and watch their jobs/savings disappear.

We live opposite one of the village football pitches, where the foul mouthed yobs play, after the match I happened to walk past the local pub where in the outside covered area the whole team and a few hangers on were sat at a single table, clearly next week apart from the pub being closed these self same people wont give a toss about the rest.

Its rough when you see all these A&E Doctors, Nurses and support staff on social media stating they are near exhaustion.

My niece was eventually moved off the Covid ward (after 6 straight months) and back on to the critical care word for Stabbings and Gunshots etc. which she was on previously and found far less exhausting.

She told us that watching people either unconscious are terrified was hard, especially as these people only see 'you', they don't see anyone else - its really utterly raw human emotion on the care staff.

Apparently the unconscious ones they have to turn over every so often each day to prevent the fluid in their lungs killing them.

I have Zero issue with utter &*^%&'s like Farage spouting non science and non facts in the face of contrary evidence.

He and other flat earthers should simply sign a 'do not treat, do not resuscitate' contract that means that they refuse and will be refused Covid related treatment. Stops them overwhelming hospitals, and gives them what they want. Everyone wins.

We could even add it to the Track and Trace - apparently its run on Excel so that is easy to amend.

Give them the option to refuse treatment.

Make them default virus carriers in the App, if/when it starts to work and we can then all avoid them.

I would literally play them at their own game - use the technology to give them what they want - no treatment as this isn't 'harmful', which includes any vaccinations and use the app to make them a black hole.

    Easy.

He's a fine upstanding English gentleman - no way would he put a dreadful imposition of claiming £6500 for a kitchen in a flat he rents out for profit, or charge the UK taxpayers £85,000 a year for his wife to work for him part time.

Don't wear a mask = don't get treatment if/when you fall ill. No problem.

    They won't download the app.
At some point app avoiders will become the scourge of the nations media. That will be used as a measure of "public opinion" by the government and a broohaha will ensue after which the app will become lawfully required.
    You heard it here first.

  18. but what about those like me own a phone too old for the app. and don't suggest I buy a new one, due to C-19 money is in shorter supply certainly not going to enter a new phone contract.
