And he can see no reasons coz there are no reasons I like the look of a split though up close they are like a bay that's far away (small) but I'd rather have a bay for practicalities sake.
I don`t like beetles or splits ,repaired loads and drove them but never liked either... Give me a morris marina ... ;D I have a T25, but we are not friends at the moment.. > westy is nice, but I do have a soft spot for the dormy .... 8)
Splitties are OK to drive after a couple of minor modifications. i.e. 1/ a Red 9 front end 2/ an IRS rear end 3/ a bigger engine 4/ the new Red 9 rear end. So with a few cheap mods you can have a beautifully handling splittie. I'm still waiting for my mate to decide if he wants to sell me his 1957 panel van, I've even been given permission to buy it.
I've had a change of heart. I'm here in the Ashdown Forrest enjoying the surrounds. I was here yesterday too and Coden beach on Tuesday. I wanted to move not so long ago because I wanted a garden. Instead my bus has a garden. England. And I don't have to mow it I'm looking at those who are admiring my bus for it's "go anywhere with your kitchen" life style and it got me thinking. Anyone of us with a bus of any description that use it for whatever purpose are the luckiest people on the planet. Wish You Were Here x

I like anything with a VW badge even the dodgy Volkswagen Dodge 1500. Which is an Avenger with a VW badge on. http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=Volkswagen+Dodge+1500&hl=en&safe=off&sa=X&rlz=1C1GGGE_en-gbGB426GB426&biw=1280&bih=923&tbm=isch&prmd=imvns&tbnid=hpCaBPjkYtWHpM:&imgrefurl=http://www.vwgolfmk1.org.uk/modules.php%3Fname%3DForums%26file%3Dviewtopic%26p%3D319558&docid=nwoxnv02IYJzIM&imgurl=http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/kk123/lennyhope/avenger-1.jpg&w=600&h=450&ei=7zqlTr76F8fD8QOageXIBQ&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=197&vpy=309&dur=130&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=108&ty=92&sig=108820908752877073728&page=2&tbnh=158&tbnw=213&start=28&ndsp=21&ved=1t:429,r:5,s:28
I wouldn't buy a Brazilian bay because of dubious quality but what they do is give an option to some people to buy a new vehicle which is unlike anything else on the market. I don't think it hurts the bus scene atall to have the likes of Richard Hammond driving around in a bay of any sort.
