  1. I LOVE THEM :)

  2. T25s aren't bad at all. They're a great alternative for folk who can't afford a Bay.

I like them. I really like the side door shelves that were lost on the bay sliders. And I like towel rails on the bumpers.

I know they played with the idea of a syncro bay but nothing commercial ever came if it.

  16. I like them all. If I had the money and the space I'd have one of each ;D

But I would never have a rascal, friendie or that strange repro-split thing.

  17. i had a split loved the attention but not the split , kept hitting me head on the top frame ie gutter getting in , kept catching me feet on the steering coloum getting in out , and a bad steering wheel position , bays all day long owen nw

  19. Damn.
There were only 4 Bay Syncro prototypes made between 1975-79. Even though they ran circles around the Audi Iltis in test races, VW kept refusing to launch it until '83.
The 1975 camper is in a museum, an olive drab and a red & white one have disappeared, and the fourth belongs to a lucky Illegitimate child private collector in Germany.
The rise and fall of a dream.
    In 42 minutes. :(
