i don't like splittys !.

I may still go back to stock steels. When my bus eventually comes back from the painters I'll try both stock steels and Fuchs. To be honest I'm quite torn between them and started edging towards standard steels after shelling out £750 on new Fuchs and tyres. One thing I like about the Fuchs though is if VW had done alloys as an optional extra in the 70s, maybe Fuchs would have been the ones they'd offered. They're technically from the same company anyway, and don't look out of place on a bus IMO.

 

I'm a stock wheel person myself, although, i've just been out today to pick up a set of 15" splitty steelies to replace my 14's stocks O0

 

the first bus I looked at when I got the bus bug had Empis on it and thats what I have - common as you like but it would be those or some standards tbh (totally lacking imagination).like solid standards and domes on early buses but not on late!
