Hello I have Just switched from FI to twin empi 34 carbs. I hooked up the inlet manifold to the old vacuum hose to the breaks. I just noticed that the cylinder by the front wheels is dripping. Have I done something massively wrong?
Haynes carefully describes how to fit it the wrong way round in some manuals, but I doubt that's your problem.
I just had a thought I think I know where the issue has come from. I recently moved and had it towed and they weren't very good and I was on the break alot, would that cause an issue Yes the master cylinder
It's not uncommon for the M/c to leak into the servo but the fault will be the m/c. It would be wise to empty the servo of brake fluid if it's got in there, it takes the paint off and causes rust inside which is the beginning of the end.
I'm guessing that should be attached. :'( haha atleast I've found the issue. Now I just need to find its name then get a new one
Is that any better it connects to the top of the master cylinder there are two ports that seem to have snapped
