  1. Hello I have Just switched from FI to twin empi 34 carbs. I hooked up the inlet manifold to the old vacuum hose to the breaks. I just noticed that the cylinder by the front wheels is dripping. Have I done something massively wrong?

  2. I just checked and the reservoir is empty

  3. Is the non-return valve in the servo vacuum line working?

  4. Yeah I sucked it and blew it seemed to be working

Do you mean the master cylinder is leaking?
I can't imagine how it could be related to the carbs.

Haynes carefully describes how to fit it the wrong way round in some manuals, but I doubt that's your problem.

  7. I just had a thought I think I know where the issue has come from. I recently moved and had it towed and they weren't very good and I was on the break alot, would that cause an issue

    Yes the master cylinder

  8. Is the master cylinder actually leaking?

  9. The big drum next to is where I think the leaks from there is a small puddle on the floor

It's not uncommon for the M/c to leak into the servo but the fault will be the m/c. It would be wise to empty the servo of brake fluid if it's got in there, it takes the paint off and causes rust inside which is the beginning of the end.

  12. I'm just happy the issue isn't from me doing something wrong when installing the carbs

  13. At which point the engine starts drinking brake fluid...

  14. I'm guessing that should be attached. :'( haha atleast I've found the issue. Now I just need to find its name then get a new one

  15. Hard to see from the pic what "it" is.

  16. Is that any better it connects to the top of the master cylinder there are two ports that seem to have snapped

  17. Your "tow-er" has busted off the brake fluid reservoir.

  18. Are there still two sticky-out bits? May have just pulled it out of the rubber grommets.

  19. Bugger, as i need a new one am I better off changing the mast cylinder as well or just the reservoir

  20. Both the nipple has snapped off in the rubber grommets
