  3. Oh wow. An actual proper civilised camper that you can stand up in and take a dump (don’t do this at the same time)

News just in from our on the spot reporter. We’ve just received this picture of Jivedubbin (cousin eddie) emptying the s@@@@@r on his daughters drive.

I have thought that, my daughter has testing kits and says she is going to test us all. Not 100% accurate but better than nothing.
Mrs C has bought loads of hand wash and different cloths to dry our hands.
I wonder how many went and slept over a few nights in a field during restrictions but post on here saying how Jivester is wrong in what he's doing?

  9. Apparently Cris rea got pulled the other day, his excuse was he was driving home for Christmas

  15. I'm acting totally within Gov guidance ,which states that to make your christmas bubble possible you can travel in zones 1-3 and stay in a hotel ,B and B or other accommodation which is not part of the bubble ,and only meet with your bubble on christmas day ,anyone not in your household can not stay with you in a hotel ,this the best part ,you can meet them in church and other places of worship

  16. My neighbour aged 50,
has been in bed for 10 days after testing positive for C19..:(

    He's fit and healthy,
    Push biking,non smoker...

    He's found it ..

Hard to eat and breath, with a swollen throat,
    hot and cold temperatures,
    can barely walk..

And has the prospect of long covid ahead,o_O

    Not something I want....
or want to give at Xmas..

So... probably best not to mix with others..

Just for a scabby mince pie,
    and a present you didn't need.. ;)

  17. On a serious note , that`s how i saw it . Why stay in a B&B when you`ve got everything you need ??
Much more of an excuse (should you need it) , than travelling for an overnight stay in a car with a possibility you`ll be staying at a residential address .

I/we`d made plans to pop up and see mi old mum in Otley (Tier 3) but obviouly being in That London it`s not happening - i wouldn`t even try from here , it`s just not on ...

  18. Nice to know..

God has made Christmas bubbles safe...

Can't get a better guarantee than God..

  20. I sympathise with your neighbour and wish him well .

It`s the terrible long term effects that seem to be swept under the carpet - it`s not `just the flu ...`

A friends daughter works on the wards as an NHS nurse in Bolton . Mid 20`s , a keep runner , eats well - healthy as you get really . She got covid four months ago and is thankfully on the mend but struggling with her fitness , to the point where anything is such a major effort - just climbing the stairs takes her 10 minutes ...

    Stay safe everyone .
