  1. Great resto thread, looks like your doing a proper job there  Wish I'd invested in one of those rollers, they look very handy. Mind you I don't know if it would fit in my single garage.

    Keep up the good work.

PS here's a couple of pic's of my C post repairs

  2. Right, not got as much done as had hope due to work and running out of gas but got some bits done, first of all was cut out the rot from the floor.

Cut the end of the bad outrigger off ready for some fresh metal.

    Plate tacked in.

Then welded them in - sorry about the welding bin a while since I have TIG'd anything

    Sill test fitted
    [IMG]

New peace for floor made around the anchor point - welding is getting back to good.

    and fitted
    [IMG]

At that point ran out of gas so stripped the front beam, which is in good order really
    [IMG]

Then this came through the letter box :)

So cut the steering mount off the beam so I can drill the dimples out - was a bit scary!

Cut the slot and offered the adjuster up and tacked it in place
    [IMG]

    Then fully welded it
    [IMG]

    Then remounted the steering mount
    [IMG]

Quite pleased with my days work really, just got the top tube to do.

  6. Right its been a while sine ive updated due to work and problems with welding machines but back on it now and have got some pics.

First of all finish my beam of and primed then stone chipped it for a nice flat finish.

Think its come out real well.

Then got my inner sill ready to fit all punched and drilled out.

    All fitted.

    Then the middle sill.

Now the first to parts of the sill are in I have cut out the rear arch cos wanna make sure I get everything lined up before I put the outer sill on. The inner arch is a but rough.

So today I have cut out some of the rot from the inner arch and started recycling some good metal.

So i'm getting there and i'm quite pleased with the way its going and with the condition of the van, not found anything that made me cry yet ::)

Will hope fully be ready to start fitting my arch by weekend, then onto the next lot of ruch

    Then the sill
    [IMG]

First bit of filler on sill and a quick rub back and I'm pretty happy
    [IMG]

Finished off the B post and door pillar (before and after)

I must admit when you said it was yours my eyes flicked across to see what your location was.
