I can’t believe I’ve just read five pages of this story and there’s not even an ending. I don’t think I will be reading the second one. If I’m honest I thought the character development was poor, there was no love interest etc. Ok the scene on the motorway had a bit of jeopardy, but even then I thought the main character could have jumped out of the way of a speeding truck driven but a serial killer at least. sorry but this just isn’t working for me.
I think you might be playing it down - look above the readers are crying out for the next episode - he’s got em hooked
Top Dead Centre - or on your engine when the little marker points at the 0 degrees on the timing scale.
Just to be a pedant...there are two TDCs, one at the end of the compression stroke and one at the end of the exhaust stroke. It's the first one you want for timing (hence checking dissy rotor is pointing at plug lead #1 at TDC).
CollyP, the devilishly handsome (but fairly useless) damsel in distress, waited with baited breath. "where is he?", he thought. The waiting was the worst part; he was sure that they would meet again, but the anticipation was almost too much to bear. "alright Col", said the dashing hero @Lasty as he bowled through the open door like a stiff wind across t'moors. TBH - at this point, I need to stop as it's turning my stomach so anyway, as suspected the Pertronix unit is dead, deceased, expired, no more etc etc. we gapped up my spare with points, but then decided it was less faff just to install Chris' spare dizzy with accuspark already installed. the old girl now runs - and @Lasty is a legend - but we already knew that. cheers matey, i look forward to the replacement unit arriving and for us to do it all over again (in reverse) MOST IMPORTANTLY I DIDN'T FILL IT WITH DIESEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heat build up while you stopped to fill up perhaps? I think if accuspark was my electronic solution I'd fit points!
@Lasty loves his! I remember before I bought the Pertronix there was a fair bit of stick given to the accuspark.
