Absolutely, what a world we live in! Though frankly it's more galling to see Blair doing that. He should have been hung draw and quartered. Both sides fail the general population. Both sides are content that a large swaith of society have wasted lives. Both sides push lies rather than represent the people who elected them. Both sides find money for completely unjustified vanity projects or war but can't fix the potholes in the road. Both sides push their parliamentary party candidates on constituencies in favour of locals. I hope this can be a start of a shake up and wake up for the UK.
I wonder if in ten years time , (hopefully) when our country is thriving and we have a better set of people running the shop, whether any of those remainers who were all holier than than thou, and arrogant and damn right abusive, calling outers ignorant bigoted racists, whether they'll apologise and say "actually this is a better place now, it was right to go out. It seems us remainers were the ignorant bigots". ?
I'll come back to this if I may as you and other remainers have raised this point. Sorry, you were duped, it wasn't a beauty contest, it was in or out of the EU. The characters are a soap opera of no import compared to the actual question. Coming from folks that claim to have come to a reasoned decision, who have implied brexit supporters are thoughtless racist bigots, I find that most amusing.
I'll own up if I was wrong, and it could end up either way. The anti immigration message from some parts of the Leave campaign was pretty unpleasant though.
there is another group - those who couldn,t careless - the ones who didn,t vote - who lost the remains vote for them e.g nearly 1.5 million scottish residents
This baseless claim that people who didn't vote would have voted remain but couldn't be bothered - where did that come from? Did you have a special poll that reached people other polls couldn't reach?
ah, got it, you're saying people who couldn't care less voted remain, but some of them couldn't care less so much that they didn't bother voting.
lets do some maths - scotland 67% voted - 62% voted stay in - if it had been 100% voted , at 62% that would,ve given the remain in an extra 800,000 votes approx now if scotland was so adamant about staying in ??? sorry i,ll shut up I'll get me coat
not according to a sky poll ( ???) 80% of pensioners voted with the highest number of outs - at 80% that wouldn,t leave many voters left - however the young'ns,who mainly voted out, were only a total vote of only 39%
Don't vote, don't complain. Youngsters should get the message that the incumbents will carry on pandering to / bribing pensioners until they get off their backsides and vote. We're heading for an unsustainable system where pensioners are promised immunity from the effects of recession while the working population / unemployed pick up the tab because they don't vote in big enough numbers.
You missed the boat mate. Voting was last week. The majority voted out. Bouncing percentages around won't change anything. They should have got off their arses and voted.
