We're basically having our legs slapped for being naughty. If we carry on misbehaving we'll all be sent to bed early without any supper.

  3. Better get to the pub early before they stop serving food then.

  4. You're not allowed dual citizenship in the EU (I think), but this will probably be OK once we are out. We got all of ours Irish passports when they were young and UK when older, so they can get whichever they like / both in the future.

  5. Carney has always had a tendency to think out loud and then do the opposite later. Osborne is just a knob.

Osbourne's grabbed the chance of "proving" he was right by talking down the economy abandoning the last of his big 3 fiscal pledges. Doh!

In a few months, the economy will naturally bounce back from the whipping it's getting due to our governments deliberate negativity. Then they will claim their amazing policies have saved us from economic crisis. Win, win.

In a few months they will have managed to convince everyone that although a majority voted 'out' what we actually meant was 'in' but with a bit of fake freedom thrown in as a sweetener. There is no way either Brussels or our political parties will accept the answer they were given. Already MP's are suggesting a second vote  the BBC is occasionally substituting the word 'if' instead of 'when' we leave.
They will try every dirty trick in the political arsenal to bend things their way and if that means driving Britain into the dirt until we accept their way, I think they might.

Europe is up the creek without a paddle, they have said that the Austrian presidential election that looked like the right wing bloke had won but somehow mysteriously lost at the end must be re run, They reckon foul plays stopped the right wing bloke winning, It's getting worse all over Europe and more to come, they have brought all this on themselves.

  20. which MPs ... I got the feeling that the potential tory leaders had said they would do the will of the people and there is no turning back, May has always been a bit of a Eurosceptic and the tory boys & girls will be running about trying to get the best jobs in her cabinet, they won't offer a GE just to avoid any chance. It will be a very sad day for democracy if that happens. Whilst I don't like to see people being used as bargaining chips they will be, after all does Poland really relish the thought of 850,000 people being sent home, and other countries similar but smaller amounts. Undoubtedly there is a long way to go but chin up this is media driven, the BBC are worried about their grants.
